Homeschool Meet Up Class with Homeschool Events CT

This homeschool meet-up will offer a structured, literacy-focused experience for preschool through early elementary children. Activities will target foundational skills such as phonics (letter–sound relationships, blending, word work), early handwriting or writing, and reading comprehension through a shared text.

Play is intentionally woven throughout the session as a tool for learning — with movement-based games, hands-on materials, and sensory stations used to reinforce literacy concepts in a developmentally appropriate way. While older children participate in guided literacy tasks, younger children will engage in purposeful play that supports early language and fine-motor development.
